The Pleasant version of a board-and-train for puppies and dogs in a drop-off day training format.
We require all dogs be up to date on the following vaccines (at age appropriate times): Distemper, Leptospirosis, Canine Influenza, Bordetella, Rabies and a clean fecal sample (done within the past 6 months) on file with your vet, as your dog may meet some of our faculty dogs during the evaluation, and we want to make sure everyone is as safe as possible.
stay and train
One day per week, on a reoccurring basis.
Our stay and train program is a drop off day training format. Dogs do not spend the night. We require a minimum commitment of 6 sessions. Most clients elect to drop their dog off one day per week on a recurring schedule.

[Half Day AM]- Drop Off 8-9:30am / Pick-Up 12-1pm (may be adjusted for trainer availability) - $75
[Half Day PM]- Drop Off 12-12:30pm / Pick-Up 4-5:30 - $75
[Full Day] - Drop Off 8-9:30 / Pick Up 4-5:30pm - $100
During the day, your dog will receive 30-60 minutes of individualized training on the skills of your choice and the foundations necessary therefor. The rest of the day, their time is divided between play groups with appropriate friends, and napping in a comfortable crate/kennel. If your dog is not comfortable in a crate/kennel, please let us know and we would be happy to get you started with some private lessons so they might be comfortable coming to school in the future!
We keep a card on file and reserve the right to charge a cancellation fee for half of the daily cost of training for cancellations without 24 hour notice or for no-shows.
For any dog left in our care past our closing time of 6 PM, a late pick-up fee of $25 will be required at pick up.

Our initial fee for this private consultation is $45 for a basic 30-minute evaluation, and $75 for an extended session (if your pup needs a bit more time). We require a $25 non-refundable deposit to secure your evaluation.
puppy camp
For puppies under six months of age.
One half day per week, Four total weeks.
[Tuesday AM]; drop off at 8 am | pick up from 10am - 10:30am
[Wednesday AM]; drop off at 8 am | pick up from 10am - 10:30am
Your puppy will be in a group with other puppies and will play and be exposed to new stimuli and socialization opportunities including stable adult dogs when appropriate. Each day of camp, puppies will receive 15 minutes of personalized, one-on-one training with one of our trainers to work on fundamental skills, as well as socialization and play instruction throughout the camp. Our puppy to faculty ratio is four to one!
Total cost is $300 for four weeks

adventure camp
For puppies six months and older.
One day per week, Four total weeks.

Puppies and teens will receive:
1. 1 hour of one-on-one training, including a field trip to various dog friendly spaces in the Grand Rapids area to expose pups to new people, environments and stimuli in a safe and positive way.
2. exposure to a variety different stimuli (sounds, objects, textures).
3. socialization with stable adult dogs of different shapes/sizes. Faculty to pup ratio is one to four.
Total camp cost is $499 for four weeks
