dog days kids camp - ages 5-8
When: 3 Day event! Plan to join us July 22, 23, & 24
Where: A Pleasant Dog
Time: 1:00pm-2:00pm
Who: Kids Ages 5-8
Price: $100/child - $50/each additional child from the same family
Join former teacher and Family Paws educator Lindsay and our Pleasant Training Team for 3 days of dog training fun! We will work on safety around dogs, reading dog body language, learning about canine play, solving common behavior problems, and practicing dog sports like agility and tricks!
We will provide a variety of well-mannered dogs to learn from at camp and each camp will have several adult handlers in attendance to supervise and assist children. Adults are welcome to stay and attend camp or drop off children for each 60-minute session.
junior trainer camp - ages 9-13
When: 4 Day event! Plan to join us August 6, 7, 8 & 9
Where: A Pleasant Dog
Time: 11:30am-1:00pm
Who: Kids Ages 9-13
Price: $150/child. $75/each additional child from the same family.
Our Junior Trainer Camp focuses on older kids interested in learning more about training dogs. In this advanced camp, we will work on deepening our knowledge of how dogs interact with one another and communicate, learning to train skills and tricks, exploring canine behavior problems, discussing careers with dogs, understanding how to train behaviors that assist in caring for our pups, and more!
We will provide a variety of dogs to learn from at camp and each camp will have several adult handlers in attendance to supervise and assist children. This is intended to be a drop-off learning experience for students, but if your child needs special accommodations, we are more than happy to discuss how we can help them be successful.
