We offer both standard grooming for pets who are accustomed to being happily groomed and who do not have a history of aggression when being handled, as well as concentrated cooperative care training for those dogs who do struggle with being groomed, including nail trims, brushing, bathing, and clipping. Our team of credentialed trainers and our professional groomer, will keep your dogs looking fresh, clean, and most of all, feeling happy and confident.
Our Fear Free groomers give your dog the most comfortable, low stress grooming experience possible. We use IV San Bernard products to improve the condition of your dog’s coat. These products are cruelty free, veterinarian approved, and leave your dog’s coat feeling and looking its best.
We specialize in dogs who are afraid of the groomer. We groom one dog at a time in our force free salon, and dog parents are welcome to stay to help comfort their pets. We use lots of treats and praise to make the experience as Pleasant as it can be. We reserve the right to stop a grooming in order to maintain your dog's comfort and bill you a prorated portion of the groom cost.
On average, most dogs should begin to progress in their grooming comfort within 3-5 cooperative grooming sessions. If your dog is not progressing, we will work with your veterinarian to reassess and make a plan to understand why they are struggling with grooming, so we can move forward.

If your dog has bitten or attempted to bite a person (even if they did not make contact) either during a groom or under other circumstances, you must first schedule a one on one private behavior session with Jenn and our behavior team in order to begin our grooming program. These sessions are billed at our normal training rates, and involve an investment of $150 to $250, depending upon your dog’s needs.
Once you are approved for entry in our Force Free program, your trainer and/or groomer will recommend regular cooperative care training sessions to work toward helping your dog feel comfortable enough for a full groom. In each session, your trainer or groomer will work toward consensual, cooperative care, in which your dog is an active, joyful participant in their own care. Each session will be billed in 15 minute increments at $45 per quarter hour increment. This includes our recommended weekly 15 minute sessions for coated puppies who will require substantial grooming care as adults, including our doodle, poodle, portie, collie, and like coated friends.
We reserve the right to stop a grooming in order to maintain your dog's comfort and bill you a prorated portion of the groom cost.

Fear Free Housecall grooming is a wonderful way to serve the grooming needs of aging, ill, fearful, or immunocompromised dogs. Unlike mobile grooming, in which a groomer brings a (scary) van to the home and the dog enters that van for grooming, we bring a portable set up into your home, bathe the dog in your tub or shower, and dry and style your dog at home. This option is ideal for dogs who dislike car rides, other animals, or leaving home in general.
This option is not available for dogs who aggress or react toward humans first consulting with our behavior training team and/or a meet and greet at our Fear Free grooming salon.
Just like our regular Fear Free grooming, it may take several visits to work up to a happy, Fear Free full groom. Our groomer will discuss a plan that is best for you and your dog.
